Kareta.Az - Car Management
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Kareta website (kareta.az) and mobile applications (hereinafter — "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Kareta provides a platform for managing vehicles, buying and selling cars, tracking expenses, and related automotive services. The Service is available through the website kareta.az and mobile applications for iOS and Android.
3. User Obligations
You agree to: provide accurate information when registering; use the Service only for lawful purposes; not upload false, misleading, or illegal content; maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials; and comply with all applicable laws.
4. Prohibited Content and Conduct
You may not use the Service to: post fraudulent listings; harass other users; distribute malware; violate intellectual property rights; or engage in any activity that could harm the Service or other users. We provide in-app tools to report listings/users and block users in messaging. We review reports and reserve the right to remove content, restrict features, and suspend accounts that violate these terms.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, logos, and software, is owned by Kareta.Az. You retain ownership of content you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a license to use, display, and process it for operating the Service.
6. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Vehicle listings are provided by users; we do not verify the accuracy of listings.
7. Changes and Contact

8. Spare parts transactions: buyer rules
The following rules apply to the spare parts sales section:
- The spare parts sale and purchase transaction is concluded directly between the buyer and the seller.
- Kareta.Az provides an information marketplace and communication tools; the platform is not the owner of the goods and is not a party to the sale contract.
- Claims for refunds, replacement, defect remediation, or compensation must be addressed to the seller under applicable law.
- The platform receives and reviews reports, may request supporting evidence, hide listings, and restrict or block users when there is sufficient evidence of a violation.
- Where there are signs of legal violations, the platform may provide information to competent state authorities in cases and procedures established by law.
- Transaction disputes are resolved by the parties in pre-trial procedure or in court under applicable law.
Consumer rights remain protected to the extent required by mandatory provisions of the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

9. Personal data, cookies, and analytics
Processing of personal data, mobile permissions, and website cookies is described primarily in the Privacy Policy. We do not add third-party advertising trackers or marketing analytics; web-related metrics rely mainly on technical logs on our own servers.

10. User rights, retention, and contact
You may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and withdraw consent, as described in the Privacy Policy and applicable law. Account deletion is available in-app via Profile -> Delete account (OTP confirmation and a 3-day grace period).
Account and vehicle data are kept while your account is active and until you request deletion; diagnostic and error logs may be kept for a limited period (e.g. up to 12 months). Detailed periods and security measures are in the Privacy Policy.
